RE:RE:Chinese ban may breathe new life into zinc price rallyStill kicking around and still invested here.
The macro story for zinc looks good. The company's development progress is (as with just about every miner) slower than the original projection.
If you're interested in getting updates, give investor relations a call. Roger's good about talking to investors and there is definitely a rising awareness of the project. Small, high grade deposits exist with better economics than Olza based on the established PEA. But that PEA covers what is in all likelyhood something around 1/2 or 1/3 of the mineable resource here. As zinc prices rise, the amount of mineable resource here also increases significantly. If you talk to Roger, he'll tell you that significant spend on awareness is happening. He'll also tell you there are plenty of talks with various groups behind the scenes.
In my opinion there's a very good probability that Olza will be an operating mine some day. Whether it's Rathdowney operating it, a joint venture or someone else entirely, remains to be seen. But it seems very likely that this will be a mine. Best case scenario - the stars align and the zinc story continues to build momentum until permitting is done (expect that to be in 2018).
