Kenogaming2

Geology
In 1957, Dunvegan Dev Corp outlined peridotite just to the south of RT Minerals's Kenogaming West Magnetic Anomaly, on one of Dunvegan's maps (42A04NW0158/42A04NW0158).Towards the western edge, the rock type was indicated to be tuff, along the north it was greenstone and along the south contact, the rock type mentioned was diorite. There was a cut grid, so I assume there must have been some prospecting done on the claims.
In 1966, the area was mapped by V.G. Milne, OGS geologist, (Maps 2231 and P.0465). Only one outcrop was indicated within the Kenogaming Property, and that was in the north central area of claim cell 791011. The outcrop is located on the east side of a ridge, about 20m high, and was mapped as felsic tuff and migmatite. During J. Salo's prospecting program, one other outcrop was found in the west central area of claim cell 791012. It was interpreted as altered volcanics, with some arsenopyrite.
In 1995, J. A. Ayer, OGS Geologist, wrote Report 297, pointing out the following:
"Amax Minerals conducted a magnetic and EM survey in 1978 that was followed up by a diamond-drill hole in 1979, in northeastern Kenogaming Township. Drill logs report assay values of up to 0.25% Ni over 3 m within a carbonatized and serpentinized ultramafic unit containing talc and chlorite bands".
Map 2627 shows the Amax nickel showing, hosted within metamorphic ultramafic cumulate rocks and surrounded by tuff and lapilli tuff. In 2002, J. A. Ayer and N. F. Trowell basically showed the same geology for the Kenogaming Property (Map P.3511).
Then in 2018, Project NE-18-003. Preliminary Geology of Kenogaming Township, Northern Swayze Area, Abitibi Greenstone Belt by L.E.D. Vice and P.J. MacDonald, gave another geological summary that includes the Kenogaming Property (OFR 6350).
In 2019, another map was produced by L.E.D. Vice and P.J. MacDonald (Map P.3841). This time it shows the location of both the Amax drill hole, as well as the lone outcrop from previous maps. The Amax drill hole is located on or near the claim boundary of claim cell 791012 and claim cell 791010, on a knoll about 5m high.
Within the EMA, the rock types are mainly tuff and lapilli tuff. There has been no mention of ultramafic intrusive rocks on this part of the Kenogaming Property, as yet.
