Nordica 4

Historical Background Cont'd
On June 5, 2013, HTX Minerals conducted a preliminary field visit to the Nordica property of Gary Windsor. A total of 14 samples were collected from trenches in 2 separate areas, one area was the Windward Ni-Cu-PGE discovery area, and the second area was just to the northeast of Sylvia Lake. The latter is located approximately 2 km west of the discovery area. The 2 samples near Sylvia Lake were leucogabbro and anorthosite, both giving very low results in copper and nickel. Unfortunately, these  2 samples were taken south of the magnetic trend (Trend A), which to me is the targeted trend to be investigated for chromite/PGEs.
The 12 samples near the Windward discovery area were gabbro, peridotite, pyroxenite, amphibolite and leucogabbro. One of the samples was taken from the chromite band. The best results from the discovery area were 1625 ppm nickel and 1145 ppm copper. Unfortunately, chromite was not analyzed.
In June of 2022, Garry Windsor carried out several prospecting traverses over the southern regions of the Nordica Intrusion. The purpose was to look for outcrop exposures that might reveal further mineralization, similar to the Windward Discovery Area.  Most of the traverses were located south of the magnetic trend, Trend A. However, one of the traverses was located just north of the Windward Discovery Area, on Trend C. The report indicated that volcanic breccia was noted along the northern ridge. This would put this area just outside of the Nordica Intrusion. As there was no mention of outcrops being intercepted along the southern edge of the ridge, this would mean a heavy overburden cover. And this would be an area where there is the eastern extension for the magnetic Trend C.
Two samples were taken from a location between the road and the old Band-Ore Resources drill holes (Windward Discovery Area). The 2 rocks recovered were peridotite and anothositic gabbro. I don't have the assay results for Sample 1, furthest from the old drill holes, but the Sample 2 closest to the drill holes gave 1.161 g/t PGEs.
The remainder of the traverses along the southern region of the Nordica Intrusion, over to the west, revealed pillowed volcanics. Assay results of reported samples gave low to nil results.
According to Garry Windsor, "there is evidence that the intrusion reappears further west in the bottom of Sylvia Creek, where the old log flume is Iocated. This location should be drilled due to high chrome content and some PGE evidence". This location is approximately 600 metres from the HTX Minerals site, where they located 2 outcrops, one containing leaucogabbro (42 ppm Ni, 151 ppm Cu, no PGEs) and the second outcrop containing anothosite (51 ppm, 112 ppm Cu, no PGEs). I don't believe they assayed for chromite. This trend between Sylvia Creek and the HTX Minerals samples, lies within a magnetic low. The important marker horizon (Trend A), the magnetic high, is located about 200m to the north. This is the area that should be considered in any future exploration program.
