V.SIR: I have that one too! I like that play. I hope to pick some more up in the low 20s this summer. Geez, that one was a $4.50 stock at one point...they have lots of properties.
Ok, so I will tell you a little about RYE from my own research, but know that I've never talked to management or anything like that.
- ~26 million shares outstanding, (that's after the forward split which should help with liquidity)
- ~$2.3 million cash on hand, seeking new projects
- 30% insider holdings AND another 25% held by others connected including Ionic Capital Corp.
- Some of the affiliated names have had lots of past success...recently companies like TXG.TO and SMD.V.
IMHO, This is a shell that will eventually be turned into a new story for that management group. Patience will be required, because who knows how long that will take or where it is on the priority list, but surely this is a good entry point. I'm going to put it away and not look at it for a year.
