Oldmanwinter I do agree the risks for these type of companies may be very high. RYU right now seems to be a company with a few weaknesses like not enough inventory, late on dilevery dates, maybe overspending and maybe a few more. But there are the positives that outweigh the negatives. for example their line as my children refer to it is hot! They prefer it over lulu by far, another example is their crew is very professional and Leone's family is most certainly involved somehow. Gives this company a big boost to have people that caliber there. Do you honestly believe they aren't? These people have a great reputation no doubt. I did a lot of reading on them and people in the field all backed up what I've learned about this family. They were the ELITE of the fashion industry in BC. I've also learned through people in high places there were some big names in the fashion world that tried to buy them out.. why do you think that would happen? only one reason, they believe this RYU has a new look and that people will jump all over it. I do too! Now seeing how most of their negatives were mainly because of cash flow and not being able to order more and open stores quicker " usually this is a game killer for any new company starting up " but somehow they survived the hurricane.. You can't deny them that much! They are opening stores when everybody thought they were down and out! Here is why I believe this is a great risk and I'd like to share my opinion with RYU investors. RYU got to this point with a large amount of struggle but always found a way to survive the very hard times FACT! Their NEGS were mostly because NOT ENOUGH MONEY.. FACT! Well I 've learned that they have finally succeeded in getting the Type of financing they need to bring this company to the big leagues. Now of course if you're not part of RYU EXECS there is no way of knowing that and maybe what I heard is false. All you can do is hope they have it, I can't guarantee this but I'm downtown a lot and I keep hearing Money is not a problem anymore for this company that some big weight is behind them. I know some people in the finance circle to believe that their may be some truth to what I'm hearing at worst. So i'll take my chances and go long because I believe they will succeed in a big way. At the end of the day it's a risk! But if you can afford to stay on board the ship I think it's a good gamble.
