Southern Arc Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Hamish Campbell to the position of its Executive Vice President.
Hamish Campbell is a well-known Geologist with a highly regarded reputation within the Indonesian mineral exploration community. He has over 25 years of international mineral exploration experience, including 23 years in Indonesia, speaks fluent Indonesian, and has held mineral exploration positions ranging from field geologist to exploration manager for various international companies in country. These include Ashton Mining, Meekatharra Minerals and Freeport. Through this experience he has developed into one of the leading experts in the practical applications of the Indonesian mining regulations and laws.
Mr. Campbell has headed up Southern Arc's exploration programs in Indonesia as Vice President, Exploration since formation of the Company and his promotion recognizes his key contribution to Southern Arc's success to date, it also reflects his future enhanced role, in advancing Southern Arc's business development through the management of operations and the implementation of exploration programs, the evaluation and assessment of acquisition opportunities and liaison with Southern Arc's Joint Venture partners.
Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. And is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy.
