Update on Coke Resources and SA

Update on Coke Resources and SA

If you read the prospectus for Coke Resources, SA sold some of their property to Coke Resources with conditions attached. If you remember Coke Resources was not yet on the ASX exchange. In order to get on the ASX they had to come up with a minimum amount of shareholders and raise $ 4.5 million. SA gave them to March 31, 2013 to achieve this condition. The ASX gave them much earlier to get those figures. Well it hasn't worked out and Coke has only been able to sign 229 shareholders up and only raise $ 739,000.00. Quite short of the $ 4.5 million needed. Understanding that they will not make the March 31, 2013 deadline with SA they have requested an extension. Coke has requested an extension from the ASX on March 18, 2013. SA is now giving them an extension until June 28, 2013 to get on the ASX. Coke is saying that they expect to be on the ASX by May 13, 2013. Tough time to pull this off. What else could SA do? Keep the deposit and look for another buyer. I expect that Coke will run out of fizz and be flat by then. Another extension will be needed I think. Selling an asset is great if the company you are selling to can pay the bills. Look for further delays. My opinion. Cheers.
