This video is 28 minutes long. It is a recent look at mining in Indonesia and how mining affects communities. The main focus is how the mining companies help the local people. Not so much what the mining companies find, but how they treat the locals. We know SA is helping or have helped the local communities. Maybe more is needed. Cheers.

This documentary introduces our experienced presenter, Mr. Roger Maynard, who explores the fundamental uses of mining product in our day to day lives. He sets off to Indonesia to explore on the grounds as he goes to grassroots level with companies to extract the real life stories and explore direct or indirect benefits through triple bottom line approach of sustainability exploring People, Profit and Planet.

He delves into the local communities to gain firsthand knowledge and gather sound examples of the impacts of the mining industry to the local communities. Its aim is to explore the pro's and the con's of mining industry in Indonesia and see how companies are striving for responsible business and if they are willing to commit to more.
