Thoughts & Musings

What everybody who has been here for any length of time as a longterm shareholder should reallly, really want for "Chrismas in July" is a solid agreement with clearly defined structure and revenue paths. It doesn't matter if its 0.4% 1067 or pet SGLT2. Phase II for one or more intended human uses of SGLT2 is great, but not something you can hang your hat on immediately.
What has me intrigued is how or why everything has been delayed simultaneously for quite a while. Obviously, some issues are related, but some definitely are not. Is there something brewing to tie everything together and blow us out of the water? Is it lack of management? Is it a tsunami of bad luck conspiring to keep us waiting? Either way, it won't be much longer before we find out. Personally, I think and hope we'll be apologizing to Howie, et al.

Even if we get fabulous news, nobody here owes Howie any apology. The lack of commuication, transparency and detail is unacceptable. He is running this PUBLICLY traded company as though it were his very own PRIVATE venture.  My biggest fear is that any good news , followed by a rise in the SP, will see many of the longtime faithful abandon ship. Shareholders can only take so much pain before ...more

The stock could run to $30.00 and I will still vote against the SOB.

No doubt. Putin, i may agree with you on many things, however an apology!!!! After 10 years of mishaps and dilution while he gains a nice chunk of cash every month from the company. None stop bonuses and options!! While we sit on dead money for years while listening to 'deals are coming', 'lots of interest'. etc etc We have been hearing the same cra# for so long. I can't ...more

let's be fair and let them keep their money. they can also set timelines and fail to meet them. and they have the right to fail at all. then we are fools and have invested foolishly. what has to stop is that announcements and missed deadlines are followed by no explanation at all. that is at least disrespectful and maybe even criminal. what they have really achieved in the last few years is ...more

To everyone: Can we just stick with the facts here. Everyone here had an opportunity to sell their investment at higher levels, at least 500% from the long-standing historical 8-12 cent benchmark rate that we were at for years. So quick displacing your sh!t and regret into the discussion here as it is irrelevant and highly irritating. You all sound like a bunch of 8 year olds who spilled their ...more

Biorun. I understand your continuous defending of the company and Howard. I did it for years on here. It came to a point i couldn't do it anymore. Even though i still think best times are ahead, i was commenting on an apology to Howard if there is some king of turnaround. He doesn't deserve one. However would congratulate him when we see all these deals come to fruition.

I just wish biotech took a decade from initial studies to shelf space. In some cases it's closer to two decades. Somewhat like penny stocks on gold mines. They just keep finding another piece of ground to drill and to justify another reason for raising funds. Having got into a couple of these in my late 60's and early 70's and I'm now 81 the horizon keeps getting lower and that ...more

Apologizing to Howard and team???  Deal or no deal, it is clear that this management team needs to change.  Fresh faces with Biotech experience and connections would alone breath a little more confidence into this venture.  Someone with balls needs to take out this team.......I'm surprised that one of the major partners has not made this stipulation to date.  It is way ...more

Is there major partner in this mess? Who might that be? How can I find out?

Achieving howies self derived deadlines are not christmas in july and are not all that great, as I have been saying all along.  My expectations are low on any jump in real value if he achieves every single one of them.  Getting 24 cents a commission for the active ingredient on a $60 tube will not even pay the bonuses they gave themselves for securing the crappy R + F deal.  All the ...more

My intent was not to start a spitting match. The results to date speak for themselves and I can't do much to change that. God knows we've had our share of failures and false starts, but as they say, "even a blind pig finds an acorn every once in a while." My only request is to keep it civil and let this play out over the next 6 weeks. Right now is definitely not the time to sell ...more

i join putin. let's keep it civil and fair. two years ago would have been an honest update: hey, our 0.2 concentration doesn't really interest anyone. we have to bring it to market ourselves somehow. with rodan & fields, we have an application for this that won't bring in significant sales. besides, we have to ensure production at two independent sites. all this will take at ...more
