That's even worse - it took them 3-4 years to even start the Phase I then??   Either way you slice it Wanbang is taking their sweet time and it obviously isn't a priority for them based on the snails pace they've been working on SBM's SGLT2 compound.  I would have much rather seen a North Am company run with it - less risk and more exposure.

totally agree. The Wanbang "collaboration" turns out to be  an absolute mess!

I am waiting to see how the collaborations on animal therapy before jumping to any conclusions here, while clarity is sought on the human trial underway. That animal market is a much less complex dimension.

Howie has not been able to license the molecule to anyone else for phase testing and Wanbang took eight years to get nowhere with it.   Generics can arise 20 years post patent and we have already lost 8 of those 20 years. On top of that it  years and millions of dollars to establish endpoint trials trials to make it even remotely possible to be used by any sensible doctor that does not
