Sirona Laboratories !!! Brilliant Strategy

Finally they have done something right... They will sell their own product line under Sirona Laboratories, implementing GlycoProteMim and shake up the cosmetics market. By having their own brand, they can prove to the major players that their cream actually works and drive up the price for a potential takeover or buyout down the road. 


What is interesting is they way they are planning to finance Sirona Laboratories, if I understand this correctly, they will leverage the IP for GlycoProteMim to raise non dilutive funds. Looks to me that there is something big happening in the background, there might be a couple of big private funds or maybe even a major player from the cosmetics industry coming into Sirona Laboratories and build this thing up with them. 

Further they will not manage it themselves, looks like this new brand will be managed by complete new industry veterans, I would assume they will be from Europe, as the entity is based there. 

I do not like to say it..... but this time, well done Howard !!!

We know nothing!!! It is again a carrot which Howard is thrown in the middle!! And then again his bloody smiling face of the front-page of the new site..!

I do think this move will benefit SBM shareholders, possibly by a fair margin. Having said that, the main beneficiaries will be Howie, and those un-named "private equity funds" that Howie will turn to to finance the new subsidiary. I guess Howie never thought that maybe existing shareholders might be interested in a major share of this most promising new company? Regardless, this
