For what it's worth I sold 90% of my position I haven't posted in a while but it's been a rough week for all of us so I thought I would. This week I sold approximately 90% of my position. There is lots of uncertainty in the market and since I was essentially all in on this company with a relatively short term horizon (1-3 years) I decided to liquidate my position with the intentions of staying on the sidelines and using some of the capital elsewhere (I bet on sports for a living so there are lots of opportunities) until the fear settles and the virus stops rapidly spreading.
I have a moderate level of understanding of markets so I'm not an expert here by any means but from my readings prior to last week on the virus it felt somewhat likely for it to have an impact on global markets, to what extent I don't know. That said my opinion on the score hasn't changed at all. I'm still as confident as I was two weeks prior to the correction and I have full intentions of buying back in when things 'appear' to have settled. Once again I'm no expert at predicting the floor so I will likely average back into it.
My only concern for us is regarding the change to the criminal code (allow single game betting) in Canada and subsequently will the government privatize sports betting. I worked out the rough numbers and conservatively our revenues would multiply significantly. When I first bought into the company back in May 2019, this wasn't such a concern for me but it now is as I recently learned how competitive the US market is. I think we need this to happen at some point for it to get where we all want. I wish everyone luck and can't wait to be fully back in, hopefully within a couple of months.
Full disclose I had roughly 70k shares and sold 62k shares at an average price of 0.65. I've been a shareholder since May 2019 when I first bought in at 0.36 and accumulated along the way until 0.69.
