RE: RE: This is like WS - Wildcat Silver!Foxtek, you summed it up nicely and I appreciate your accuracy in the figures you presented as well. Wildcat has at this point 36 Million Indicated and close to 85 million Inferred for silver which is far ahead of us to date but the point here was that the drilling numbers with the two are showing the potential that Shroud possesses in its very early stages.
From what I have come to understand, George is a geologist and not a promotor as such but their attendance at PDAC will no doubt be the first of a change in that direction as well. From what I can see, promotion is the only thing this little gem is missing.
Someone asked about Sprott's position as to the numbers of shares and when it was acquired and I was not able to ascertain that info from the report; just that Sprott, Pinetree and Dundee altogether held 15% as of March 2010.
I did go back though to look at the Hislop closer when trying to view the whole package here and that is a story all of its own as well. The report states the following:
Three interesting factors to be considered that lend to the attractiveness of Shroud's activities at Hislop are:
1)Proximity to the former gold producing Ross Mine.
2)The announcement by St. Andrew Goldfields Ltd. to commence production on its Hislop property
3)The ramping up of gold production at Apollo Gold Corp's Black Fox Mine.
The success of the Ross Mine portends excellent potential for Stroud's Hislop property and signifies additional drill programs are warranted."
Their Creek Zone and Main Zone were showing the same drill hole depts at 1000 metres as the Ross Mine.
The St. Andrews property is contiguous to that of Stroud and St. Andrews announced at the end of '09 that it was bringing its Hislop project into production in 2010 and had a compliant pre-feasilbility study that the mine contained 1.9 million tonnes mineral reserves for 142,500 of contained gold.
And then on top of us this, we still have the Leckie which is 100% owned which at least 100,000 of Au.
I also have to tip my hat once again to our good friend, 2Fast (aka Mav) for tapping me on the shoulder about this one. Thanks big time!!
