RE: NRWell, I concur that I'm never delighted with after market news releases but on the same hand, have come to the conclusion that investors often only respond favorably to BIG numbers and LONG metres and often miss the picture of economics and proving up the resources and therefore, at times need time to digest the info.
Although, I do not have the method to calculate how the numbers continue to support the doubling of the resource, which was the objective of this season's drilling, 80 ft width of 200 g/t Ag certainly sounds like it would continue to prove it up substantially. DDH 37 was step out drilling and not infill so this is worth noting and 36b that hit that high grade section of 1.079 g/t also encountered two additional mineralized zones.
All in all, it appears that this will no doubt become viable to mine an open pit operation and as Stroud continues to release these types of numbers, perhaps more JV opportunities will present themselves to bring this into production more sooner than later.
I hate to see the delay in further drilling due to the weather but that does not say that there will be no more results until after drilling commences. Perhaps more cores made it to the lab before the rain stopped them. It would be perhaps worthwhile to email George and inquire on this. I would also like to know whether they will provide any updates on the resource estimate prior to the completion of the 25 holes......
We'll see in the morning how the market takes it all in .......
Cheers!
