But ,a word to the wise
It was not till a couple weeks ago Keith Fitz-Gerald started covering VR/AR in his reports by the way of using Facebook as the investment. It doe snot mention S7 but the technology is there and still coming.

I believe all will forget the days of .65 cents and talk about teh days of $1.10. I hi-lighted the bottom comment for us all.

You May Only See This Opportunity Once in Your Investing Lifetime
by Keith Fitz-Gerald

Dear ,

Facebook Inc. (NasdaqGS:FB) launched Oculus Rift this week amidst great fanfare and negative headlines.

Unless you are a hardcore gamer, the reviewers said, the $599 price "isn't justified." Geoffrey Fowler of The Wall Street Journal was even more blunt, saying that "there is little reason to own one [an Oculus Rift headset] unless you're a serious gamer." The implication is that you shouldn't buy Facebook stock.

I think the naysayers are totally missing the point - not to mention the potential.

Sure, the headset is clunky and richly priced, but what new bit of technology isn't?!

Subsequent generations of the product will be revolutionary. They will appeal to a far larger, far more mainstream audience filled with both consumers and business-to-business customers alike. And that's the key driver when it comes to why I recommended Facebook when I did.

So far we've been handsomely rewarded with Facebook returning 10.67% versus the S&P 500's return of merely 1.01% since. I hope you're onboard!

I think history will show Oculus Rift to be among the most spectacular product launches of the century.

Oculus Rift, you see, goes way beyond gaming. Imagine what happens when it's linked to virtual treadmills and synced up to everything from virtual manufacturing to a surgeon's tools. That's the real payoff here.

The architecture currently driving games will naturally expand into other industries like insurance, medicine, architecture, and even virtual travel, just to name a few. Only they won't call it virtual reality much longer; the term will become "augmented" reality.

Further, the specific hardware requirements will completely change the computing industry as we know it, together with every supplier feeding it. Our world will become augmented in short order.

The numbers are simply stunning.

The latest data I'm seeing suggests that the virtual reality market will hit $30 billion by 2020 and augmented reality (which is still considered a separate industry for now) will top $90 billion over the same time frame. That's exponential growth no matter which way you cut it, according to Digit-Capital.

Most investors will see something like this once, perhaps twice in their investing lifetimes. That's another way of saying "you don't want to miss this."

If you don't own Facebook yet, you can still add it to your portfolio.

But, a word to the wise.

We were early to the trade and with Oculus Rift now available, the investing public will naturally start to see the potential we've already identified. So the price advantage you now enjoy may disappear quickly.
