We?  It doesn't matter what we think.  What matters is what consumers want and how industry can best provide it.  Whenh you look arounx (try it) you onlyheed high resultion in the neighbourhood of wehre you are looking as it's only the central protion of the eye that has the capcity to capgture high def images.  Elswhere the resoution is quite low.  Outside the cnetral point where you are looking thihngs are fuzzy so there is no need to provide treat definition there as the eye can't perceive it until you lok in that direction.l  So detecting where the preson is looking and only prociding high def there can reduce and will reduce BW when they figure it out.  Some are working on that now.  So whether we like it or not it wil come if it's perfected.
