RE:RE:When work disappeaers we'll all live in virtual worlds

I don't think it's weird. If half the population is unemployed in a robotic/AI world they will need something for people to do to make life enoyable or at least tolerable. Kurt Vonnegut wrote about such a world in his first novel "Player PIano". It's one thing to work and retire, but to retire at 20 sounds good but would be hard for most people to deal with especially with limited resources. I thought it was a very interesting article.
