Not sure if this was posted...  I just saw this, probably old news from yesterday!!!

Spectra7 to Showcase Data Center Products at OFC

Highlighting Market Adoption of Active Copper Interconnects

Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX:SEV) (“Spectra7” or the “Company”), a leading provider of high-performance analog semiconductor products for broadband connectivity markets, announced that it will be showcasing its innovative GaugeChangerTM technology for data center Active Copper Cables (ACCs) at the Optical Networking and Communications Conference & Exhibition (OFC) in San Diego, CA running from March 5th though the 7th, 2019.

"We've seen a fantastic response for our active copper cable technology, especially in the hyperscale data center market," said Spectra7's CEO Raouf Halim. "With the buildout of these data centers accelerating, we believe OFC 2019 is the perfect venue to highlight our new technologies. We look forward to meeting both current and new customers to demonstrate how our semiconductors can accelerate their product development cycles as data rates increase."

GaugeChangerTM is an innovative and disruptive technology that allows copper to extend much longer lengths without the cost and power penalty of optics. It works equally well at 25 Gbps NRZ and 50 Gbps PAM-4 enabling new connector standards of 100, 200 and 400 Gbps.

Spectra7 will be showcasing its GaugeChangerTM technology at Booth #5408

The Ethernet Alliance will also be hosting several extensive interoperability demonstrations and showcasing Spectra7’s GaugeChangerTM technology at Booth #4749

About OFC

The Optical Fiber Conference and Exhibition (OFC) is the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking professionals. For more than 40 years, OFC has drawn attendees from all corners of the globe to meet and greet, teach and learn, make connections and move business forward.

OFC includes dynamic business programming, an exhibition of more than 700 companies, and high impact peer-reviewed research that, combined, showcase the trends and pulse of the entire optical networking and communications industry. OFC is managed by The Optical Society (OSA) and co-sponsored by OSA, the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE/ComSoc), and the IEEE Photonics Society. OFC 2019 will be held from 3-7 March 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center, California, USA. Follow @OFCConference, learn more OFC Community LinkedIn, and watch highlights OFC YouTube.
