so far S7 is a dominant player in the tethered space...if there is a chip to allow them get in the wireless market, they would announce it already? NDA is one thing.. That you can't disclose whom your client is, but if that's your proprietary technology, you should be able to sell it to someone else.. Unless Sony engages S7 to design the wireless technology for them...and keeping the tech secret is part of the deal. Otherwise they will be annouceling it like the failed attempt on cypto mining. I dont believe the chip is listed on the company website anymore. My bet is still on Xbox... Raouf said the deal would double the client's VR user base... He is not wrong if the client is Microsoft.. Many VR users are indeed using Microsoft's softwares for gaming purpose with other HMDs. Probably just how people read between the lines. I bought into S7 a couple years ago when they announced the partnerships with APH, Foxconn and Luxshare back in early 2018. I thought that it meant they would start selling ICs with S7 chips right away, but I learned my lessons. It took them a year to announce the actual products just this year. So I should just assume I am wrong again this time... Nevertheless, I am positive on the company and the markets that they are in... Hope they get the loan they need it and don't have to risk further dilution.
