Very very Bullish indeed, Tencent is probably the Data Center customer in Asia that S7 is launching with as their first full sized Mega operator!
If we can see the Domino affect come into play here with these Giant operators in China and snag a Domestic Giant late 2019 or early 2020 with the 400G (20x faster than 100G) then it will be off to continue the Marathon after stopping for an extended water break!
(remember Asia has a terrible air quality issue and the government is backing the use of eco friendly processes which is squarely in the low consumption electrical use that S7 chip sets provide)
This partnership with Tencent is more significant than the Cable partners due to the fact that they are the end user of the S7 products and are announcing to the Data Center community that they are promoting the use of S7 ACC interconnects not only in their company owned facility’s , but encouraging the adoption by the ENTIRE DATA CENTER COMMUNITY and putting their money where their mouth is!!!!
Think about that one for a moment!!!
