Thanks Jimmer. I always appreciate your efforts in transalting those Chinese language websites. There is a lot of good info there.

And before anyone starts pointing out that Dr. Sun Min is talking about optical rather than active copper interconnects, I just want to comment that when he said, "Going forward we plan to use only passive and active copper cables for our server connections.”, I believe he meant for the 2-7 meter or 2-10 meter connections.

Anything longert than that will still and always be optical. Luckily for us, the 2-10 meter makes up over 90% of the data center interconnect market!
