RE:Interconnect Market
In that article you posted, Active Copper seems to be promoted equally as much as AOC and Passive Copper.
The summit will be unveiled at the booth. . 400G QSFP-DD DAC, ACC, AOC, optical module and connector related products will also be exhibited.
ICT interconnect solutions for global data and communications customers including external high-speed copper (DAC&ACC), optical products (AOC & optical modules), high-speed connectors, high-speed internal board-to-wire, etc.
Spectra7 will do fine, and Active Copper is being adopted as we speak.
Back in the late 1990's, a small company called Broadcom was pushing a new concept: Gigabit Ethernet. Not everyone thought that Ethernet was the best path, and few thought Gigabit speed was around the corner.
Now we are looking at 400G and 800G speeds. Broadcom recently sold to Avago for $37 Billion (Avago subsequently changed its name back to Broadcom, and it is now somewhere in the $100 Billion range).
Spectra7 will do fine...
