Well, if you subscribe to the Peter Lynch school of investion thought, a business that tries to excite investors is usually the one he stays away from. The small business that doesn't constantly put out exciting press releases, on the other hand, is the one he would be interested in looking at (from the classic: "One Up on Wall Street")
