Keep in mind this announcement speaks more on the level of what the possibilities of copper are now and in the future as demand rises. It shows how adaptable the technology is. We know that at the 400G mark is where DCs can no longer ignore the savings let alone 800G. We also know it only takes a few sparks to start a fire. This is all about proving the possibilities of copper that are not to be discounted.
