Updated Moosehead Drill Results

Quinton Hennigh listed considerations to assessing a junior miner in a "Resource Talk" interview on Youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrDdWWcl1CA

Jurisdiction, weather, location, managment and technical staff skill, marketing fluff, project quality, drill results, mettallurgy, evnironmental issues, and community support are considerations when assessing a junior resource company, Hennigh says.

Sokoman scores high on all those points.  Read Sokoman's website:  https://sokomanmineralscorp.com/

Intercept in excess of 100 gram/ton meters are very very good results, Hennigh says.

Sokoman has those. Sokoman has 21 intercepts in excess of 100 gram/ton meters (highlighted in blue in the table below).  Here they are:

MH Holes    m x g/t                g/t meters

01-13          17.11 x11.05      189.06
01-23          1.53 x 170.31     260.57

22-366         1.4 x 133.94       187.52

Sokoman is hitting high grades at shallow depths.  That makes the deposit all the more valuable.  In addition, there is infrastructure and labour close at hand, good terrain, and a supportative jurisdiction and community.

The drill holes todate taken together:

"... calculating the weighted .... grade of all the results displayed (table below) ... it gives 559.70 meters at 13.913 gr. per tonne with a margin of error of plus or minus 5%." Stockhouse Poster "Guy491" said.  (does not include latest MH-22 drill results)

Sokoman's grades are proving to be on a par with Fosterville and nearby Newfound Gold. Fosterville is one of the highest grade gold deposits in the world.

Moosehead deposit mineralization has been compared to Fosterville in Australia.  Agnico Egale in their last report said Fosterville mined an average of 16g/t.  Fosterville's proven and probable grade is 10.33 g/t.  Fosterville's highgrade is over 1000 meters underground.  Fosterville is one of the highest grade deposits in the world.

Newfound Gold is hitting phenominal grades.  They are on a parrallel fault structure, the Appleton  Fault, to the Valentine Lake fault that Sokoman is on. These faults run south-west to north-east across Newfoundland.  These faults in the crustal layer of the earth are the result of techonic collisions.  The mineralization of Newfound Gold's cores are being compared to Fosterville also.

They are drilling into epithermal orogenic structures that are comparable to Fosterville Swan deposit.  Google the term for more detail.

Newfound Gold's and Sokoman's website have a very good discription of the geology.  Also you can see comparisons of Sokoman's core to Fosterville core on Sokoman's website.

Excellent results and at shallow depth too. The story gets better with each news release.

Hi LikeIke,  I do not think Tim was talking big about drilling down to 800M. Unless I heard differently, he was referring to shareholders who constantly tell him to go deep like 800M and he was being sarcastic. However his plan was to stay on the program and keep picking the low hanging fruit (e.g. barge drilling) and follow the deepest hole to date, the 350M one in the PR, down plunge and ...more

Correct. What I heard him say was, " Would I like too, sure, but not before 750, and 700 and so on"  Menaing simply, in time, and according to a systematic plan. This thing is getting so big. Obviously the future appears to be bright. What I wonder, based off my naitiite' how long does the company keep drilling ( and gathering great results) before the next step occurs ...more

Yep BC got the sarcasm and remember him saying how often he gets phoned about it after it he said he will eventually have to do it but will stick to the plan in the meantime.  Bottom line he wants to make sure he hits something before he drills.....much easier  said than done no matter how many times you think you got it all figuired out.
