Kenorland Study

The Kenorland Study reinforces an expectation that Moosehead on the same trend as the 7.8M oz (P&P, M&I) Valentine Lake Project may quite well attain that level of ounces also. The Kenorland study indicates Moosehead may attain in excess of 5M oz.

The Kenorland Study looked at the relationship of discovery hole gram/ton x thickness (GT) to the eventual gold endowment of 83 primary gold deposits in Canada.

Sokoman has 30 (2 are just under but close enough to include) intercepts in excess of 100 gram/ton meters:  g/t x meter thickness (GT). See list below.

The average intercept thickness of the 30 holes is 8.63 meters

The total gram/t x thickness average of the 30 holes is 259.5 g/t/meters.

Kenorland Mineral's study of 83 primary gold deposits in Canada compared the relationship between discovery hole gram/ton x thickness (GT) to gold endowment and thickness to gold endowment.

Using Sokoman's average GT and thickness for 30 holes rather than just one discovery hole gives a much higher confidence of Sokoman's average GT and thickness to Sokoman's gold endowment when plotted on Kenorland Mineral charts showing the relationship of GT and thickness for the 83 primary gold deposits.

Plotting Sokoman's 30 hole average 259.5 g/t/meters and 8.63 meter thickness on Kenorland Mineral's charts on page 11 and 12 indicates Sokoman's Moosehead deposit is in excess of 5 million ounces.

On page 11 chart the 259.5 g/t/meters can be plotted on the y-axis and on page 12 chart the 8.63 meter thickness can be plotted on the x-axis.   The total Au (Moz) are on the opposing axis.  To estimate Sokoman's total Au Moz on those total Au axis it is necessary to interpolate through the companies plotted on the charts. To do that:

Go to page 17 chart, "Renault Discovery" where all the company GT's are compared.  Plot Sokoman's 259.5 g/t/meter (GT) on the y-axis and draw a horizontal line across the chart and note all the companies that lie above that line. They are: Coffee, Snowfield, LaRonde, Elenore, MacLellan, Fenn Gib, Detour Lake, Horne, Hemlo - Golden Giant, Eskay Creek, Hope Bay - Doris, and Brucejack.

Going back to page 11 and 12 charts you will find that other than 2 all the others have in excess of 5 Moz of Au.  Sokoman's GT put Sokoman up into their league.  It should be noted that Sokoman's GT is based on 28 drill holes while the GT for all the others are based on just one discovery drill hole. That gives a higher confidence level in Sokoman's GT.

Does that mean Sokoman has in excess of 5 million ounces?  It is an indicator that Sokoman could have 5 million ounces or more.

At this stage it is just an estimate. A definitive amount will have to wait until resource studies are completed.  Until then Sokoman has the money necessary to do a lot more drilling this year. Currently they are drilling deeper now into the new 463 Zone and also stepping out.

One thing we do know is that when you find high grades intercepts like what Sokoman is getting the probability of finding a lot more is very high.

Thanks geezer. Sokoman needs to continue drilling 463-519 area, with vertical or near vertical holes from the 463 pierce point, maybe going another 100-200 metres deeper. Most if not all the holes have been drilled at very oblique angles, wasting a lot of time, money and drill core. Follow the trend to depth where they've already hit good stuff.

Calico - have you considered suggesting this to Tim? When I last spoke with TIm, he said 463 it was in a tough spot to target directly with vertical drilling... but didn't elaborate further.

Yes, in a recent e-mail to Tim, I did suggest more vertical or near-vertical drilling in the 463 area. He replied that he would discuss that suggestion with his exploration manager. Tim has always been prompt and professional in his responses to me. I wish him continued success with drilling at Moosehead, but we need some decent results to keep current shareholders interested and to bring in new ...more

When I saw the 463 drill trajectory that was a suggestion I made to go back on the other side of the pond and drill some of those holes deeper.

However,  I am not a geologist and I would defer to their judgement.  I am sure they considered the possibility to go back to those holes and punch them deeper and because they did not there had to be good reason not to.

Geezer Gosh I wish that any of this mattered. I believe you and the numbers do not lie. However, this thing is being diluted into oblivion, and the numbers do not mattter anymore without follow-up. The next purchaser of moosehead that comes in with a new focus certainly will appreciate this.

If a major breakthrough on Moosehead doesn't happen this year, I would be worried about that playing out next year. I'm more so worried about the threat of a bleak market, share structure (I.e. being diluted into oblivion) ruining our company now over anything else.

Agreed I am not going anywhere, but disappointed that moosehead 463 wasn't focused on, and all the "goodwill" that the market and the Earth gave us was lost
