Potential

Would Vic Gold aquire a major stake in Sitka if they did not see significant potential.  IMO a major plus event.

This could work out, but it is a very high risk move by Sitka.  The cash terms are extremely taxing for a $45 million market cap company; it is giving away about 5% of the company a year for three years.  In addition, they will need additional funds to undertake actual exploration.   In a sense, it looks like Cor is betting the company on what he expects to find on the ...more

Rockport Sort of weird that you say Victoria will be in the drivers seat to buy out Sitka down the line.  As it stands, it remains to be seen if Victoria exists down the line lol.

While, that post did not age well; one day! Lol!  I am so incredibly pissed at Victoria, not because I own shares, but because of the black eye they are putting on the industry.  It gives all the environmental concerns people have with mining a legitimate example of the downside. Of course it is early on the the Victoria situation, but IMO I think they may go bankrupt.  If ...more

This would be no worse than the Mount Polly disaster and yet here we are.  Still mining and exploring.

Yup, mining again. It took eight years before they could start to redevelop the mine.  Exactly my point.
