Because of poor performance by the CEO, the sp is going down, regardless of todays action. Fluff news releases are not material. Further googling says it's a Nonstandard word, so my bad as well. MW explains “not conforming in pronunciation, grammatical construction, idiom, or word choice to the usage generally characteristic of educated native speakers of a language.” So in short idiots use it.
