Thanks for the post. I saw the update and it looks promising. Their coal is doing well. Oena is still producing good quality diamonds. The only thing I was hoping for is finding diamonds in Angola project which until now hasn't found any yet but its still in early stages. If Angola and Liberia pans out and finds diamonds then this will fly. But until that happens sp will go sideways for a ...more

I guess full scale production of the Angola project will start some time during this quater. For Oena full scale production  was scheduled to start in April and eventually it took 6 weeks longer (mid May). Which means the delay of production we see in Angola might also have nothing to do with actually finding diamonds, and might be simply caused by other things which happen to delay the setup ...more

Thanks for your feedback Hemspter. The reason I'm more excited about Angola project is that their mine is located only 38km alway from Somiluana mine which is owned by huge company Trans Hex which produced roughly 136000 carats of diamonds last year. So Moquita mine has potential whereas Liberia is still long ways to go. I'm also looking forward to their next quarterly to see if they start ...more

I fully agree, the Moquita project has tremendous potential, as well as the potential mine in Liberia - not only because of the locations of the properties, but also because the mining sector in these countries is still far less developed than in South Africa. I also thought about when we might see the first positive quater, but I am not sure if I dare to make a guess when this will happen. Fact ...more
