We need rebounce from the Venture Exchange

The price is heavily correlated with the JX (which is the TSX-Venture's index).  And currently, the JX is almost at 2008 level (all time low).  As long as the Venture doesn't have traction, even good news won't make the stock move, because no one is in the TSX-V (except cannabis stock).  So I guess we need even more patience than what expected.  The good thing is, this company is not going bankrupt and got upside, so I'll wait longer than I wanted, but not much choice anyway!

Also, I think that the coal mines are dragging the interest low, since some hedge fund now devest from coal stocks and other "dirty" energy.

hey jsmicah. I agree about the venture market it has been pretty bad lately. But even with that the sp should be going up with good or promising outlook. What company need is good pr marketing. And also agree that this company has upside potential and won't be going bankrupt in near future that's why I'm really looking forward to their upcoming financials to see where they are at. If ...more

the coal is problem even though tango seem to be be doing ok with it. But I think they should scrap the coal mines sell it and invest in more diamond and or gold mines

Coal is still very relevant for South Africa so I don't think it would be necessary to sell these mines. In terms of projects Tango is doing pretty fine at the moment. The things which have had the most negative impact on the stock price are firstly the pretty much non-existent shareholder communication (quaterly updates are simply to little to keep the market interested), and secondly the ...more

i hope tucker is gone as well. By the way, tango does not own the mines, they have the contract to run the processing plants  and are reliant on the mines fo ore to create free cashflow to cover corpotate overhead. My review of finnacials says they maybe break even on those contracts. when they come up for renewal, they should renogiate a better deal than tucker got. the mines keep falling ...more

Thanks for your inputs guys. I agree with Hemspter that we do need more news and updates more regularly than quarterly. And your right about Tucker dumping all his shares and sp going down with it. And I also heard from another discussion site that he has been reelected to the board as a director. Go figure. Gees

You're right more news would be more interesting, but a reason I've stayed that long with them beside the lower price, is they can any day pull out a 1 million dollar diamond.  Their current market cap is 2.34 miilion $, The maket could then go crazy.  They are just taking it way slower than I expected and Tucker move was definatly not in the interest of the shareholder, but he ...more

Par ...more

This correlation with the Venture market is interesting, thank you for pointing that out. It looks like both TGV and the TSX have hit rock bottom, so at least it cannot get any more much worse. In the end of this month we should get new financials, maybe this will mark an end to this down trend? I surely hope so and the chances are not even that bad I guess (especially since chances of this stock ...more
