RE: RE: putting it in context

RE: RE: putting it in contextI do not discount anyone that brings a valid comment to the table, I am quite grateful for the counter post that outlined the differences in oil viscosity... I'm sure that many folks have increased their knowledge and comfort level with regard to what it is SNV is actually drilling for... This string I am sure has also helped some edgy investors develop some confidence... I only offer an opinion when I find a post that would create an unrealistic expectation... It's great that there are cheerleaders... and I understand that some folks have dropped their cash down with expectations that might not align with the existing situation... that IS what these boards are for.. point and counter point... so that Joe Average can eke out a basic understanding of what he is invested in...

Is it semantics??? in some cases yes... were my previous posts contrary? or just a request to have someone clarify their points?

and for the record... GUIDANCE is not a Metric...

As for how I invest... My basic philosophy is simply this... buy on the lows sell on the highs... find companies with solid managment and solid prospects then take advantage of the ebb and flow of the market... for the record... I got in on SNV at the 12 cent mark ...unloaded in the mid to low 30's and slipped back in a bit early (low 20's) by the looks of it... BUT once one of my other investments pans out...and given the price point is still whereit is today... I'll average down and be ready to take advantage of the run up once the reserves report is released MY best guess and considering the first three wells are completed and tested before the end of November...is that reserves report ought to be released early in the 1st QTR 2012... AS I wrote in My previous post... I don't think that "recoverable" oil in the range of 200MM Barrels is to far from a conservative estimate... of course MORE is better... and in regard to my timeline... I have taken into account the area of operation... and first hand knowledge of how much heavy lifting (drilling) it takes to ramp up production... and WHILE I am at it...

My numbers from yesterday... 1000 wells...and 200MM Barrels of production is a static model... fact is... as production ramps up so to will reserves increase as drilling steps out from the first field...

as always it IS my opinion git yer own
