RE:RE:SEDI filing There are 2 reasons why this is significant.
1. As the saying goes, he's putting skin in the game. Essentially, he's investing in the company by buying shares. Further, if he pays out of pocket to purchase then it's considered very positive. Normally, they would sell enough shares to pay for the purchase which would leave them with shares that cost them nothing. That is not what is happening here.           
2. This is more pertinent for shareholders. The timing of his shares purchase suggests he's very positive of his investment. All warrants/options have a time limit, a right to purchase x number of shares at a predetermined pruce for a specific period of time. Given the context of what's happening, insider exercising now is a very positive indicator.
