Now you knowPress release shows a profitable cafe-level EBITDA, which I can roughly gauge as correct from their financial statements (I don't trust any number not directly on there as it's easy to manipulate those). Looks to me like the loss is primarily due to their pretty aggressive expansion campaign. Only obvious downside I see in the financials is the $170K loss is meaningless imo as they sold 2 cafes for a $963K profit, which means without these, the loss would be over $1.1MM. Too bad I can't find just Q4 results on SEDAR as the Q3 results looked pretty promising for a break-even quarter (excluding any gain from sales of cafes) soon.
