New Drill Assays from a Major US Past-Producing Ag District

New Drill Assays from a Major US Past-Producing Ag District

Summa Silver Corp. (Ticker: SSVR.v or SSVRF for US traders) is a silver and gold exploration company that is focused on high-grade discoveries in well-known American mining districts.

SSVR's Mogollon silver project is nestled within the largest past-producing silver district in New Mexico. From 1904 to 1925, records indicate that the district yielded 13.1 million ounces of silver and 271,000 ounces of gold. Operations ceased in 1942 as a result of the wartime suspension of all gold and silver mining activities in the United States.

Galen McNamara, CEO and Director of SSVR has highlighted the potential of this project, stating, "It is my strong belief that the district has the potential to be one of the great remaining vein fields still left in the United States”.

Supporting this, SSVR recently released drill assays from the last two holes completed during its winter drill program at Mogollon.

The results show compelling indications of elevated-grade silver and gold mineralization particularly near its Eberle target, where SSVR encountered mineralization 200 meters beneath the project's historic Eberle Mine.

One hole, strategically situated to investigate untapped extensions of mineralization at the target, returned 1,133 g/t silver equivalent over a span of 1.65 meters.

Drilling also showed that the project's Queen Vein  harbors substantial concentrations of high-grade silver and gold for at least 2km along the system.

The affirmation of mineralization over an extensive stretch, coupled with the vast uncharted territories within the Mogollon Project, sets the stage for further promising developments in 2024 and beyond.

With more than 75 kilometers of cumulative vein strike length awaiting modern exploration methodologies, Summa Silver is positioned to unlock additional value in this exceptionally prospective region.
