I struggle to Understand their Business Model.

A royalty company is pretty straight forward but I don't understand how Green Star Royalties meshes with Star Royalties and can provide share appreciation for Star. Cenovus who just bought in paid 21 million I assume to Star Royalties but now they own 26% and Agnico Eagle has another 26%, the rest almost 48% belongs to Star. Does Star Royalty get the money, this all seems so vague to me when they don't have controlling interest. Cheers!

Hi, Initially I believe Star wanted to be carbon neutral gold company in the beginning. They would good value in the carbon credit market and created Green Star. Their focus now is to keep expanding their pipeline as not many other companies do this. I assume using their gold stream to fund. Yes Star Royalties gets those funds but it goes to expanding Green Star.

Yes they own a large amount of Green Star. They dont have majority but only 3 investors with the same ideals. I assume the deal was made so they couldn't just make all decisions, would need 1 other investor.  They are still have profitable streams but moving the funds into Green Star. Carbon Credits took a hit but once Oil hits $100+ again I think carbon credits will do well again
