What am I missing?

Great news on the completion of the spinnout transaction?  This certainly simplifies things for the eventual takeout by IMG....(little ahead of myself there).
Problem is ...that before this transaction..as a SUP shareholder I owned 100 per cent of TPK  (October gold and the other properties are irrelavant  for me at the moment . This has allways been about TPK and those mouthwatering results)
After the transaction..we own just 72 per cent .   Hmmm  why do I feel ripped?
I know that we were able to put a monetary value on the deposit through this manoeuvre, perhaps make it easier to finance..but for me the problem has been access.  Has that changed?
Has mgmt been looking too closely at Brookfields structure and twists and turns?
If they wanted to isolate the QUebec properties why did they not just spin out the whole thing to SUP shareholders?
