RE: Previous Results - Nash/Prior Name???I'm on dial up also, from what I remember the presentation is what I would call "high level,", no extreme details. There is a report on the Nash Creek property filed on sedar.com, under Company Profiles for Slam. It's dated 9/27/05. It's also about 11mb. Your local library can probably provide quicker access than your dial up service. That's were I go when I want to view large files.
The historical drill hole assay results are there, and a map of all drill holes through NC-0509 (it includes the historical and first nine Slam hole drill collar locations). The map also shows the resource area. There are some interesting intercepts of mineralization, both in intercept length and grade. The Slam drill core assays were reported on 12/15/04, 4/12/05, 11/30/05, and 08/15/06--but only the first two are included in the present resources calculations. The depth of the reported intercepts seems to vary, and some of the holes have multiple intercepts of potentially mineable ore. Some of the intercepts are as deep as 200m.
There are multiple deposits on Nash Creek, but the Hayes deposit is the one they are concentrating on, and the other two have much lower grades but the possibility of some higher grade sections.
Does anyone know if Nash Creek went by a different name in the past? I've seen two sets of data on historical resources for New Brunswick mineral deposits, but Nash Creek doesn't appear in either, although Nepisguit does. ?!?!? The earlier drilling was in 1988-90, and Falconbridge or some other company actually calculated resources at one time (see prior referenced report on Sedar). Please bear in mind that these historical resource calculations pre-date NI 43-101, and accordingly are not 43-101 compliant.
Hope this helps.
