$SYH.V announced that its partner company has identified uranium enrichment at the East Preston uranium project from the recent 2022 winter drilling results (a total of 5000m spanning 19 holes from January-March). Of the 420 samples, there were definitely some interesting discoveries from the exploration efforts.
- Grades of up to 19.5 ppm U with several U / Th ratios several times higher than what was expected.
- The results confirm that uranium is present within the alteration zones and sets up the next stage of exploration at the East Preston project.

With $SYH.V holding a 15% interest in the project, the results show promise from the property. And as numerous nations start to look into nuclear energy, the uranium market is beginning to get interesting. Nuclear has been proven to be far greener than many methods of energy production today while being the most efficient as well. As EVs become more popular, current production levels are not enough (even SK is now aiming to get their nuclear energy production back on track by resuming construction by 2024). Additionally, with $SYH.V’s extensive portfolio of properties, they're well-positioned to take advantage of this growth.
Overall, with a fairly attractive $41M valuation combined with their consistent results and properties in one of the best uranium districts in the world, there's a lot of potential here going into the future. Definitely keep a close eye out here for any future developments.
