Tam + Zinc position

Tam + Zinc positionMay I once again suggest combining the Tamerlane position with a pure zinc position, (i.e. certificates of futures etc) in order to either hedge your exposure or just take better advantage of the zinc spot price fluctuations.

Right now a long zinc position would probably be reasonable, after the 12% zinc spot drop in two trading days. The chinese tightening measures are by no means new information and the markets should brush it off as long as there are no additional worries in the next week.

European debt problems could also cause volatility, but I urge you to never underestimate the markets ability to adjust to seemingly difficult circumbstances. 6 months ago, european (greece) debt was the end of the world but already now the market are used to hearing about these issues and probably won't react as much/appoear as surprised by them.
