They were doggedly trying to put PP into production - not because they'd make money for the shareholders, but because of the juicy 3% NSR they'd cream off the top. So they could care less if PP actually made any money - the big payday came when/if they could get it up and running. Just a couple of years of creaming 3% off the top meant millions to them, even if PP didn't make a dime.
I have to laugh at the idiots who paid $2MM a few months ago, just to see TAM head into BK a few months later - talk about rubes. I wonder what sort of song and dance Peg gave them...but fools and their money are soon parted. And Peggy is no fool - she just preys on those who are.
