Would think the company would be expected to provide an update on Monday given the end of the go shop period. This would very much be material information.

It's customary for companies to provide a press release immediately following a go shop period that indicates if a superior propsal was recieved or not and the status of any continuing discussions. This typically occurs before the next trading day (which in THNK's case is today). I guess we'll see but if they don't provide an update over the next 20mins or so then it'll

One posibility I have been given by a lawyer friend as to why THNK has not press released the results of the now expired Go Shop = It may be the case that a Superior Proposal did emerge but Beedie has up to 7 business days to decide to match it or not. Note that the 7 days would start from the time Beedie was notified of the Superior Proposal which may not necessarily coincide with the end date of

One can hope but the Board may be playing on their own rink and setting their own rules. If they did receive a superior offer , wouldn't that be material information that should be disclosed just as the expiry of the Go Shop period should have been noted in a press release.? Wouldn't fiduciary duty require them to notice shareholders at the same time as Beedie?

That was my initial thought exactly. It becomes a matter of the state of the bid, as in is it "formal" or indicative only (the later doesn't require notifying shareholders). If its an informal bid at this point it would imply that negotiations are likely ongoing and not proceeding further until Beedie's intentions are known.  Now having said all that I completely agree that
