People were whining about not having news and THRM confirms that their test works on real subjects to same levels as the lab and it loses 16 %. Really bad day. Was so optimistic about these results, test progressing even more. Not sure what people are playing at today.

It is a good news for the regular COVID, but the Brasil variant is probably different. So saliva test was probably performing below 80%, instead of over 80% as required. This is why Rob said:  We will now test AcuVid™ with the known variants to validate its effectiveness and, if necessary, optimize the test to detect these variants." They still have work to do. todays volume 4M was low, this is good as therma is holding it's ground. covid is here for 2 more years at least. Therma's testing is going quick. Patience is key

No, the statement implies that they did not do variant testing. They will do so and adjust as needed. Maybe the variant is mutated enough to require new nano rods. Hopefully the test is such that it will detect all variants.

They did test  the variant as they can't figure who has it and who has not the variant. The result was probably lower with the variant. Isn't it funny that once again, this PR brings forth new hurdles that should have been expressed when they first said they were going to test in Brazil.. what is this now 6-7 times that they bring another excuse to the table for a delay.. something they should have mentioned right off the hop..  they knew there were other variants for how long now..?? for one sona caught them lying or whatever. sona has a saliva test after them but gets hc to give approval for their test when it seems thrm can't get it done, boom what gives.

Because they are late you Nincompoop.. Stop sugar coating everything.. They were suppose to have it completed in 2 weeks.. .They are starting phase 2 for some facking reason now... So we gotta wait for another 2 weeks.. GO back since just january they are out galavanting and not giving us what we want a WORKING COVID TEST
