You may be right. If they truly are distinct markets in the sense that being strong in one won't help you (much) in breaking into the other then that would certainly take much of the steam out of my argument (one of them, at least).

This recent board appointment might thus be a prelude to TLA and TRIG doing a partnership or maybe even, at some point, a merger. Might even be seen as a quite civilized way of them doing due diligence on each other. No doubt each has an interest in being bigger (and thereby having a greater market presence).

Also, on the off-chance TRIG is struggling with some of the same types of challenges as Kelso, they might have one eye on TLA's cash.
