Titan Logix Corp. > What an odd press release

What an odd press release

I've never seen anything like the November 30 press release. So Alvin Pyke is leaving the board for personal reasons and it sounds like he's leaving the company but nowhere does it actually say that he will not be continuing as CEO.

I would assume that he's not going to be CEO for long. I don't see how it could be otherwise. But it would have been nice if the press release could have confirmed that.

Perhaps he is continuing for the time being as interim CEO while they look for a replacement? The press release might have said as much.

Anyways, how could someone leave a board for personal reasons but also continue on as CEO? It's sort of like saying, "Hey, I'm too busy to keep going to once-per-month board meetings but I still have spare time to do 80 hour per week as CEO."

Perhaps I'm just slow, reading-between-the-lines-wise.

Further to my comment, I could imagine where Alvin Pyke is stepping down from the board to make room for the new board member, Robert Tasker. An aside, Mr. Tasker looks like a terrific addition to the board, though there are parts of this change that are perplexing also. It looks like they're bringing a competitor onto the board!! (I have no doubt that it will all have been thought through so ...more

Your call for clarity has been answered . Interesting article at https://www.linkedin.com/in/roberttasker/overlay/1606227473867/single-media-viewer/ Seems like Robert Tasker's company is focused on the rail industry. $1 million in revenue with 9 employees according to rocketreach.co. This rail industry focus is I believe supplementary to Titan Logic's focus? MODERNIZING RAIL LOGISTICS ...more

I would have thought sensing liquid levels in (a) tanker trucks (TLA) and (b) rail tank cars (TRIG) would not be all that different. Perhaps there's something I'm not aware of that makes them more or less completely distinct markets? Seems hard to believe. I'm not trying to question anyone's ethics here but it almost looks like TLA and TRIG (and maybe some other companies ...more

Have you ever heard of a company called Kelso Technologies (KLS)? Kelso Technologies Inc is a railway equipment supplier that produces and sells tank car service equipment used for the safe loading, unloading, and containment of hazardous materials during transport. The firm designs, engineers, markets, produces, and distributes various pressure relief valves and manway securement systems ...more

You appear to be making a case that the market for rail tank car level guages is more distinct vs. tank truck level guages than I have been supposing. You may be right. If they truly are distinct markets in the sense that being strong in one won't help you (much) in breaking into the other then that would certainly take much of the steam out of my argument (one of them, at least). This ...more

These executive moves are needed . Current Revenues lack growth and substance. Revenue base is narrow and these potential relationships offer significant upsides and diversity  in sales, depending on the final form of the relationships.
