I suspect that this is now the case unfortunately. There is just too much graft and corruption in the system to let a "cure" advance to its final stages in my opinion. I would love to be proven wrong as I have relatives fighting this disease and also I still have a large amount of shares of TLT which I will continue to hold in spite of all of the impediments being thrown in our path. But I fear that this is now a fact as why would such a seemingly promising technology face so many obstacles at such a high level?
Agree with you. HC approval dragged the human trial application for over 2 years, and now even we are at the start of human trial, we face so many obstacles. To think of it is more than 3 years after the successful animal trials from mice and rats, we see little progress has been made since then. On the other hand, I saw a lot of world class institutions ( many of them from China ) are currently catching up with our once advanced technology . I think they are not lagging to far behind, in China, they don't have the farking stupid organization like HC to put so many obstacles on the approval, and for human trial stage, they have a lots of resources (financial aid and candidates well selected for the trials, and 1st of all they won't allow the stupid candidate to have the right to postpone the valuable time for more than 3 weeks ). I am deeply concerned if our technology will soon be surpassed by other world class institutions in the not very near future. Something must be done to speed up the process or at least get a plan what to do next,
