I believe the OSC vastly overstepped in this matter. A slap on the wrist, a caution, a five minute major maybe. But stepping in and requiring a new CEO...? way beyond the pale. This should have been fought with a lawsuit. We just kind of retired the king, layed him down on the board without, seemingly, much of a fight. Roger brought us this far and is the right man to move us forward in my opinion. We can't afford the kind of talent that would be significantly better than Roger. And further, there is no better advocate for a company than the guy who had the idea in the first place, the guy who breathed life into it, the dreamer, the first mover.
You would hope that the OSC had better things to do than to meddle in the inner-workings of an independent company. Like chase down the short sellers that are a real threat to the TSE and lesser exchanges.
