Are Canadian taxpayers supposed to foot the bill every time a for profit private company wants to conduct research into a medical conditon? Who decides who gets priority funding, who lives and who dies? Where's the money going to come from to finance all these non-profitable companies when governments are already running billions in deficits? Taxpayers are taxed enough already. They don't need any more socialism.
