Funded by Theralase and the Government of Ontario

Funded by Theralase and the Government of OntarioJust to close the debate on the funding topic for the past work and what we saw in one of the paper at the AUA conference in Chicago...

"Funded by Theralase and the Government of Ontario".

Agree that might be that but it can also be because of the Ontario Centers of Excellence (OCE) (The 12.5$M grant) of June 2018 that states this.

  • Research Impact: Anticipated value to Ontario in the following three categories:

Commercialization

Economic Benefits

Societal Benefits

Arkady Mandel, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc. Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer of Theralase stated that, “Theralase is pleased to support world-class research aimed at optimizing our patented PDCs in a clinical setting. The peered-reviewed recognition of our technology, as well as the financial and technical support, from the Ontario government and world-class industry players, such as IBM and Altera (Intel) will fast-track the commercialization of Theralase’s PDC technology, which will ultimately directly benefit cancer patients.
