RE:RE:RE:RE:full attention to the completion of its pivotal NMIBC ph2Au contraire.
They did sue Nasty and TNorth without having the real names. SH didn't have the real names, they only had email addresses and they provided those. The judge said he didn't know how his judgement would be enforced when the defendants were only identified by pseudonyms, but he issued the judgement despite that because the defendents had the opportunity to defend themselves as they had been contacted via the email addresses.
"This motion raises the issue of whether the court has jurisdiction to grant judgment against unidentified defendants for defamatory statements published on the internet. For the reasons that follow, I find that where a form of service can reasonably be expected to bring court proceedings to the attention of an unidentified defendant at whom the litigation finger has been appropriately pointed, judgment can issue against the defendant despite the fact that the plaintiffs and the court do not know the defendant’s name." silverT wrote:
Sure thing they were ID'd just like VMS did in 2013 . First you get a court order to get the names released from SH and proceed to press charges . You can't sue Nasty and TNorth without having real names , they just didn't make them public .
