Yes and also backed by recent announcement by the WHO. He was also basically correct about HCQ.
The thing about herd immunity though is for how long are we immune? Will we be protected from other Covid 19 strains? I think Herd Immunity is a desirable shot term goal as it would allow society to get back some normalcy. While understanding that it might not last, we will eventually still need good treatments, good vaccines.
It does seem that catching the common cold, another corona virus, did afford some protection against Covid 19. Also, those that got one strain of Covid 19, then later a different strain, also handled it better.
